MMF Enhances Vibration Monitoring Capabilities with Accelerometer Signal Conditioners
MMF, a leading provider of advanced measurement solutions, latest range of accelerometer signal conditioners, offering unparalleled precision and versatility in vibration monitoring applications. The new product line includes the M29 and M33 modular stackable units, the M72 bench-top or rack-mounted unit, and the M14 programmable vibration monitor. These cutting-edge solutions are set to revolutionize the field of data acquisition and analysis.
The M29 and M33 modular stackable units are designed to deliver exceptional performance in single-channel applications while also allowing for easy expansion into multi-channel systems. One of their key features is the capability to convert a voltage input on an existing data acquisition system into an IEPE input without the need for replacing the datalogger or acquisition cards. This enables users to enhance the functionality of their current equipment effortlessly. With internal filtering options ranging from 0.1Hz up to 30KHz, users can tailor the signal conditioning to their specific requirements. The M29 offers a fixed gain, while the M33 provides selectable gain control, adding a further layer of flexibility to the system. These units find extensive use in educational lab tests, industrial vibration monitoring, mechanical structure development, and various other applications. Additionally, their compact design, coupled with an optional DIN rail adapter, allows for secure mounting in a convenient location.
The M72 bench-top or rack-mounted signal conditioner is the ideal choice for laboratory environments where gain and filtering adjustments are regularly required. Offering the option of either IEPE or Charge-mode, this unit can be configured as a single-channel system or expanded to support up to eight channels. Its user-friendly bench-top style housing, complete with clear LED indicators and pushbutton mode selection, ensures intuitive operation. The separation of panel controls and cable connectors at the rear further enhances usability. Notably, the M72 supports TEDS IEEE 1451.4 (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) compatible options, enabling seamless integration with other equipment. Alternatively, users can opt for the digital display feature, which provides a clear view of the programmed settings.
For those seeking a highly versatile and programmable solution, the M14 Programmable vibration monitor fits the bill perfectly. Designed for DIN rail mounting, this module is specifically tailored for IEPE accelerometers. Its USB connectivity allows for easy connection to a PC, enabling graphical 500-line FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) and RMS/Peak analysis of the vibration signals. The M14 also offers optional RS485 BUS connectivity, a BNC connector module, and a range of output options, including relay alarm outputs, USB output, RS485 Bus connector, and 4-20mA output to a control system. The presence of an LED bargraph display on the panel ensures quick and convenient monitoring. With the ability to be programmed on-site using user-friendly software or employing self-learning functionality for swift setup, the M14 caters to diverse industrial applications such as bearing monitoring, electrical motor monitoring, conveyor condition monitoring, and wheel balance monitoring.
