Introduction

The latest Oxygen 7.6 update brings a wealth of new features, enhancements, and tools designed to improve usability, performance, and analysis capabilities.

This version introduces significant upgrades across multiple areas, including a 3D-Plot Instrument, Time Reference Curves, Frequency Tracking Filter, X/Y Plot Improvements, Power Improvements, Channel Configuration Export, Export Add-Ons, New Math Functions, TRION-CAN-FD DAQ module support and more.

New Features

3D-Plot Instrument: A new 3D-Plot instrument for 3-dimensional data visualization, mainly to be used for visualization of Order Analysis results or Amplitude Spectra.

Time Reference Curves: A new plugin to create reference curves in the time domain. Reference data can be defined manually, copied from a table (i.e. Excel) or loaded from a previously recorded *.DMD-file.

Frequency Tracking Filter: The Frequency Tracking Filter can be regarded as bandpass filter with an adaptive centre frequency. It’s a powerful tool for Vibration Analysis or Machinery Diagnostics and useful add-on for Order Analysis.

X/Y Plot Improvements: Possibility to create multiple reference curves as visual boundary on XY plots. There is capability to pin data labels and A/B cursors to calculate Delta values.

Power Improvements:

• Harmonics Limits Table. A new feature for the Power Instrument to visualise if certain harmonics exceed a user definable absolute threshold during measurement.
• Additional “Symmetrical Components” channels for Voltage, Current & Apparent Power. New parameters in compliance with new revision of FGW -TR3 (Rev 26).
• Resolver Plugin – Support of Resolver sensors with multiple pole pairs, ideal for electric motor testing.

Channel Configuration Export: Possibility to copy-and-paste Channel Settings, e.g. to Excel for documentation. Mainly designed for documenting Hardware channel settings but settings of all selected channels can be copied.

Export Add-Ons:

• Matlab export: Scaling information included in *.mat-file.
• Excel export: Option to export header data in separate spreadsheet.

New Math Functions: Can be used for signal generation & simulation. Wave functions include chirp, sine, cosine, sawtooth, triangular and pulse. Can be used with the Audio Player instrument to generate sound functions.

Miscellaneous: Option to change background colour of Digital Meter. Sample rate divider: max. Division ratio increased to 10 000. FFT Frequency weighting. Warning before deleting Math channels.

Hardware support: Software Support for new TRION3-CAN-FD module.
