Position Sensors

A position sensor is a device that affords the measure of position. It could either be an absolute position sensor or a relative one, otherwise known as a displacement sensor. There is a diversity within the position sensors category – they can be linear, angular, hall effect, magnetic field-based, proximity sensors, inductive position, and so forth. These types of sensors are widely used in industrial systems, automotive applications, and various other high speed operations. Our linear position sensors come packed with exclusive characteristics like anti-vibration mounts, triple sealing, and high-temperature rod ends. These features make them ideal for position sensing in critical applications where high accuracy, current stability, and robustness are primary requirements. Beyond linear position, we also offer rotary sensors for angular position measurement. These operate based on the magnetic field principle and can be either contact or non-contact hall effect based, offering digital sensor output options. Other additions to our linear position sensors include drawer wire (or string pots), Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) & Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs) for measuring linear or angular position, and hall effect sensors. Our products are designed for a wide range of object tracking and control scenarios where speed, power, and accuracy matter.
