The Model 606M1 is a MEMS triaxial seat pad accelerometer with both static and dynamic responses designed specially for characterizing whole body vibration in accordance with ISO 2631-1 and ISO 8041. The DC response of the silicon MEMS sensors is the key to yield accurate velocity and displacement results from the raw acceleration data.

The 606M1 incorporates integral temperature compensation that provides a stable output over a wide operating range. The on-board voltage regulation circuit works with power supply from 8 to 32Vdc. Features include 3 independent circuits, low current consumption, high over range protection and low transverse sensitivity. Suitable for whole body vibration studies, helicopter flight tests, heavy equipment testing, biodynamic studies.

The 606M1 is designed in accordance with ISO 2631-1 and ISO 8041. The unit utilises piezoresistive MEMS sensing elements in its construction which provide a flat response from DC to 800Hz +/-5%. The unit provides high sensitivity 80 mV/g, as a function of its voltage amplifier and will operate from voltage supplies spanning 8-36VDC. The 606M1 sensing element is critically damped thereby providing superior protection from damage as a function of resonance excitation. The 606M1 is of particular benefit to users who wish to integrate acceleration signals at the lower frequencies to obtain velocity and displacement data. This is because the unit doesn't suffer the characteristic piezoelectric drop off/roll off at lower frequencies and hence measurement error. The classic ski slope noise floor which is a function of the integration of noise at the lower frequencies is virtually eliminated.
