Product Description

The Model 606M2 is an IEPE triaxial seat pad accelerometer designed specially for characterizing whole body vibration in accordance with ISO 2631-1 and ISO 8041. The ISO 10326-1 configuration has three independant circuits, high over-range protection, stable temperature response and +/-50g dynamic range.

The seat pad accelerometer incorporates a removable triaxial IEPE accelerometer with 100mV/g output sensitivity. The model 606M2 is designed for low frequency measurements with a measurement resolution of <0.4mg. A detachable 3 metre cable is included with three BNC connectors for simple interface.

Unit is fully serviceable and repairable. Removeable triaxial accelerometer that can be used as a stand alone accelerometer. The sensing element is based on piezoelectric IEPE technology, as such should be powered from an IEPE power supply comminly available on data logger, FFT analysers etc. The 606M2 provides a flat response from 0.5 to 1000Hz. As with all IEPE based sensors, there will be a roll off at the lower frequencies which could have an impact on the signal to noise ratio. If the data at low frequencies needs to be integrated, consider using the 606M1.
