876 Barometric

Product Description

The model 876 is an extremely accurate and stable ceramic pressure transducer to measure barometric pressure 600 to 1100 or 800 to 1100 millibar. A glass-fused ceramic sensing capsule detects changes in barometric pressure. As pressure increases or decreases, the capacitance changes. This change in capacitance is detected and converted to a linear analog signal by custom ASIC-based circuit, producing an output signal proportional to applied pressure. Supply voltage options 5V to 24V, with an output 0.1-5.1 VDC or 0.5 to 4.5 Volts. Used for barometric pressure compensation for internal compensation and automotive emissions test equipment.
