CAN Transmit Option

Product Description

The CAN transmit option for Oxygen allows raw and calculated data channels to be transmitted in CAN format. Oxygen is used to save a DBC file that stores the message settings for ease of set up at the CAN receiver. It's easy to set up and select the data channels to be transmitted. The typical application is where data channels are also required for test bed control or monitoring. Note, this option requires a TRION module with a CAN channel or an active CAN port in the DAQ system chassis. 

All the key CAN parameters are configured in Oxygen, including

• Baud rate (up to 1 MBaud for standard CAN or 8 MBaud for CAN-FD)
• Number of messages and channels
• Message IDs and type (standard or extended)
• Transmit frequency and delay (up to 100 Hz, 500 ms)
• Channel length, format, type and scaling
