HBP Series Concrete gauges

Product Description

The HBP series of strain gauges are specially constructed to meet the needs of measuring strain in concrete. The strain gauge is mounted to a polyimide carrier and than has the cable attached with robust strain relief, the gauge and termination area are then potted in a polyurethane moulding to give mechanical and moisture protection. Strain gauge lengths of 3 to 50mm are offered as standard. Custom designs to meet specific requirements can be readily manufactured. Long gauge lengths are used to ensure strain averaging in non-homogeneous materials.
