Product Description
The Model SA89BSD is a micro-miniature 9mm diameter profile, media compatible, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L stainless steel housing. This low power 24-bit DS ADC digital output pressure sensor supports an I2C or SPI interface protocols and is designed for threaded o-ring mounting or welding.
The industry standard ASIC is used for temperature compensation and offset correction which is also provided as an output alongside the pressure measurement. The sensing package utilizes silicone oil to transfer pressure from the 316L stainless steel diaphragm to the sensing element. A flexi cable allows the SA89BSD to connect to a smaller connection terminal.
The Model SA89BSD is designed for high performance applications where size is a primary concern. Custom solutions are readily available to include mounting threads, oil fill material, alternative digital address codes.
