Standard versions of this transducer use a 17-4 PH stainless steel diaphragm to sense pressure (Inconel wetted part versions are available for operation in highly corrosive environments). An all welded construction, deflection of the diaphragm is transferred to a double cantilever beam by a force transfer rod. Strain in the beam, and therefore input pressure, is measured by four foil strain gauges. Designed specifically to withstand high pressure spikes, pressure surges or high over pressure the sensor is available in various outputs including mV for dynamic pressure, voltage or current 4-20mA. The legacy brand name is Schaevitz, Polaron Schaevitz, Polaron Components or Lucas Schaevitz and has a proven record for in excess of 40 years. Special or customs designs are available upon request. Applications include test benches, steel or paper mills, military or commercial aircraft, research and development. Steel Mills and Pulp/Paper product parts include: P981-0104, P981-0107, P981-0120, P981-0121, P981-0133, P981-0134, P981-0136, P981-0181, P981-0184, P983-0103, P983-0113, P983-0120 & P981-0902. All have options of LOX grease free cleaning. Cable lengths are generally 6M or 15M
