Product Description

The model 150 string pot is a high grade precision conductive plastic potentiometer, offering stroke/travel up to 38mm (1.5 inches). One of the smallest draw wire sensors available, and specially designed for use within ATD Crash Test dummies, and Automotive/Flight test applications. The sensor has a grooved drum for enhanced repeatability and small robust design. There are several choices of design available for either left or right hand cable pull, cable tension options and base/no base. Output is via a voltage divider circuit offering infinite signal resolution. Design temperature -65 to 125 Deg C and high mechanical life in excess of 5 million cycles. Other products are available for stroke lengths to 1080 mm.
