Product Description

The model 170 string pot is a high grade precision conductive plastic potentiometer, offering stroke/travel up to 50mm (2 inches). The sensor has a grooved drum for enhanced repeatability and small robust design, bearing mounted rotating components.  There are several choices of design available for either left or right hand cable pull, cable tension options and base/no base. Output is via a voltage divider circuit offering infinite signal resolution. Design temperature -65 to 125 Deg C and high mechanical life in excess of 100 million cycles, rated to Mil-R-39023 shock & vibration. Other products are available for  stroke lengths to 1080 mm.
