The Model SAx6 is a temperature-compensated piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a TO-8 (Transistor Outline 8 pin) configuration, offering excellent performance and long-term stability. It features integral temperature compensation over a range of 0-50°C through a laser-trimmed ceramic compensation board. Additionally, it includes a laser-trimmed resistor that can be used to adjust the gain of an external differential amplifier, providing sensitivity interchangeability of ±1%. The TO-8 Series uses a silicon MEMS pressure sensor mounted to a TO header with a separately soldered ceramic substrate that is uniquely laser trimmed and matched to each sensor. Available in gauge, absolute and differential pressures and four different package configurations allow OEMs to optimize their board design.
