XCP Over Ethernet Plugin
XCP is a commonly used interface in the automotive environment for ECU calibration. Due to its capability of polling and streaming data, it can also be used for performant measurement data transfer.
The XCP over Ethernet plugin is used to transmit data from Oxygen to Vector Canape or ETAS INCA calibration environments. Oxygen acts as an XCP slave and transfers data to the XCP master.
Measured and calculated data channels in Oxygen can be transmitted. Data can be transmitted at up to 10 kHz per channel. The A2L file and XML file are auto generated by Oxygen on the DAQ system. Recording in Oxygen can be started and stopped using the XCP interface.
Applications include powertrain calibration test beds.
