The model XP5 is designed in titanium for pressure measurements in high dynamic and static applications even in harsh environments. Frequency response varies on pressure range but starts at 18 KHz for the lowest pressure rating to 152 KHz for higher pressures. The XP5 threaded design virtually eliminates zero shifts caused by installation torque. The XP5’s core sensing technology consists of a temperature compensated Wheatstone bridge composed of high stability micro-machined silicon strain gauges. An on-board amplifier is optionally available (A1) for ranges from 5 to 350 bar gauge, sealed gauge or absolute pressure reference. Generic design temperature to 120 Deg C however, can be used to 150 Deg C when using the mV output and Z36 temperature compensation option.

Custom Pressure Sensor designs are available for Cubesat, Low-Earth Orbit or Geostationary Orbit applications. Special features include Vacuum, Zero out-gassing, Radiation hardened , low mass and amplified outputs. This unit replaces the previous models Entran type EPX & Measurement Specialties XPM5 and comes with M5 thread or optional 10-32 UNF.
