Amplified Capacitive MEMS Accelerometers are used in a wide variety of applications. Their easy-to-handle output, wide measurement ranges and ability to measure static acceleration make them an ideal choice for general purpose vibration monitoring. Along with the measurement of vibration, capacitive sensor outputs are frequently integrated with respect to time, allowing for calculations of velocity and displacement.
