Amplified

Amplified Capacitive MEMS Accelerometers are used in a wide variety of applications. Their easy-to-handle output, wide measurement ranges and ability to measure static acceleration make them an ideal choice for general purpose vibration monitoring. Along with the measurement of vibration, capacitive sensor outputs are frequently integrated with respect to time, allowing for calculations of velocity and displacement. StrainSense offer a large portfolio of capacitive vibration sensors, with full scale ranges from 2g to 400g and with frequency responses to 2.9kHz. Whilst low noise has become a stable of these sensors, there are ultra-low noise options available, which are ideal for reducing integration errors and taking fine resolution datasets.
