New Small Size String Potentiometer: CD30 and CD35

The CD30 and CD35 String Potentiometers are linear displacement sensors that use flexible stainless-steel draw-wire to measure distance. Both models convert the linear motion of the cable into an electrical signal with a potentiometric output, The draw wire cable is attached to a spring-loaded spool that rotates as the cable is pulled. This movement changes the position of a wiper on a rotary resistive element; the potentiometric output then varies proportionally to the input voltage signifying the length of draw wire pulled from the spool.

CD30 String Potentiometer

  • Measurement Range: 0-150mm, 0-250mm, or 0-500mm
  • Linearity Options: ±0.15% or ±0.25% of full scale
  • Resistance Values: 1K ohms or 10K ohms
  • Mounting Options: Screw-mounting, flange mounting, or mounting bracket with lug draw wire connection

CD35 String Potentiometer

  • Measurement Range: 0-750mm
  • Linearity Options: ±0.15% or ±0.25% of full scale
  • Resistance Values: 1K ohms or 10K ohms
  • Mounting Options: Screw-mounting, flange mounting, or mounting bracket with lug draw wire connection

Both the CD30 and CD35 String Potentiometers are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including robotics, automation, and structural monitoring, providing reliable and accurate linear displacement measurements.
