The HCM series Digital Compass are suitable for harsh environments, able to withstand vibration and shock during operation. Using advanced algorithms to derive precision heading, pitch and roll with a 20Hz output rate allowing for fast reaction in the field. Heading is calculated in real-time using CPU; and performs automatic compensation over a wide tilt angle range using internal gyroscopes and triaxial accelerometer.

A range of digital output protocols are available along with an un-packaged option for incorporation into OEM designs.
