Product Description

The MPM489 is a Pressure Transmitter certified for Hazardous Areas with options include Intrinsically safe Ex ia and Explosion proof Ex d certifications. Additional marine approvals are also available.

At the core of the MPM489 is a Piezoresistive sensing element, which provides excellent stability and reliability. Together with signal conditioning circuitry, everything is enclosed in a high-strength, stainless steel housing.

The MPM489 includes many configurable mounting options including fully flush membrane, Triclover fittings and face/waterline sealing. Additional options of all-welded construction, Hastelloy C or Tantalum wetted parts. Pressure ranges start from very low pressure 0-100 mBar to 0-1000 Bar and available in Gauge, Sealed Gauge, Absolute or Compound ranges. Standard electrical options include 11-28VDC or 5VDC supply with a low power options 3.3V. Output is 4-20mA or analogue Voltage options such as 0-5V, 0-10V, 0.5 to 4.5V.

Customisation is available for OEM applications.
